To match her opulent reception setting of Westonbirt school, Lottie wanted a full skirted dress with dramatic bow and a demure top with clean crisp lines.
A high boat neck front allowed for a striking open back with a heart shaped cut out. Pearl buttons were used at the back neck and a belt with detachable bow with long tails finished the look. The hem was finished with a horse hair stiffener to add further structure and drama to the dress.
Into the evening, the bow was removed and the dress bustled for easy dancing!
Cotton sateen from Trade 80 was used as the main cloth, with a silk lining by James Hare.
Pearl buttons and horsehair sourced in London.
We made all 7 silk bridesmaid dresses, with sparkly diamanté belt. The maid of honour had a subtly different shade of silk to distinguish her out. The Mother of the bride outfit, which comprised of dress and long coat, was also made bespoke by us.
The men’s suits were altered by us to create a really tailored look.
