Leanne was the epitome of understated glamour. She wanted a very simple silhouette, fit to perfection with a boned corset structure integrated into the dress. The back featured many tiny cover buttons over an invisible zip. Silk was used throughout and she was extremely proactive with the sourcing of all her silks.
The dress was interchangeable with a lace overlay, buttoned into the back for the day time. Into the evening, she removed the lace and added a touch of sparkle with a diamanté belt which we backed with silk grosgrain ribbon.
Trade 80 silk provided the main cloth, cover buttons made to order by MacCulloch and Wallis. Joel and Son were the chosen supplier for the lace and diamanté trim for the belt.
